Fact-Checking Policy

Students learn from our pages and people copy our words onto cheques and forms, so every number has to be right.

How we check

  • All number words, Hindi spellings, Roman numerals, prime lists and tables are produced by one tested program, not typed by hand. The same rules power the converters.
  • The program is tested against thousands of cases, for example every Roman numeral from 1 to 3,999 converted both ways.
  • Hindi number names were checked against standard Hindi references. Where two spellings are common (such as पाँच and पांच), we say so.
